Amphawa
Vist the famous traditional Floating Market of Amphawa.
Leave Hua Hin at lunchtime, return to hotel approx. 9.30 p.m.
After about a 1½ hour drive, experience first the excitement of the Railway Market, where the train runs right through the middle and stallholders have to rush to get out of the way, folding up their canopies like a big Mexican wave.
We then go to the picturesque, peaceful royal gardens of King Rama II and take a leisurely stroll around the beautiful historical teak residence, museum and flower gardens.
From there, it is just a short walk to the Floating Market, where local people sell fresh seafood, Thai desserts and other delicacies from their wooden boats.
Hand-made souvenirs can also be bought from the charming little shops along the wooden walkways on the river banks.
Then enjoy a delicious buffet dinner of Thai specialities at a traditional restaurant overlooking the majestic Mae Glong river.
After dinner, our virtually silent, comfortable, electric-powered boat will take you on a breathtaking romantic tour to see the thousands of fireflies glowing in the Lamphu trees along the banks of the river. This is a true eco-tour on the only electric boat in the entire region.
At the end of the trip, our luxury minibus will be waiting to drive you back to your hotel.
